• Question: what is your favourite part of your job?

      best aspect of my job… has to be completing a task, and handing it over to my customer knowing they will be happy with it.
      I also really like the people skills side of the job, meeting new folks, I don’t mind if they are MP’s, CEO’s or cleaners, everyone is important to me.
      I often help our public engagement team, and STEMnet, and while that’s not something I get paid for/isn’t really part of my job, I find it really rewarding to do , as it communicates who we are, and what we do to people.

      My favourite part is seeing something that started off as a little idea in my head which grew and then I put down on paper/computer then turn up in front of me 🙂 pretty amazing 🙂

      The end result, there is nothing more satisfying than seeing a finished road or bridge that you have played a part in and people are getting to use now to create a better link through the city.

      I love the travelling and meeting new people. I get to see new places and work with a fantastic construction team. I also enjoy being proud of what I do on a daily basis.

      My favorite part of the job is helping scientists and engineers with different types of problems.
