• Question: How can a person ride a motorcycle 100 mph but not stand up in a 100 mph wind?

      I would say it is due to aerodynamics and that when you are stood up you are in quite an unstable position with you centre of gravity quite a distance from your feet. When on a bike you are more streamlined and far better ‘anchored’ in a more stable position
