I like it when a problem tests my knowledge because later on that information will be useful for any random reason. It is stressful at the time but totally worth it when you finally solve the problem and get that great sense of achievement.

Absolutely, problem solving is what I do, day in, day out! My love of problem solving is partly why I chose engineering as a career 🙂

Have you ever experienced a problem that you couldn’t initially solve? If so what did you do to overcome it?

this I think depends on the person. some people solve the problem while others cannot solve the problem. the people who cannot solve the problem usually ask others for help and when the ask they hope the person knows the answer. this is one of the reasons why people are in a way the dominant species because they can solve problems and ask other people how to solve a problem.
